Ever since Rihanna came into the industry, the world has tried to hype a beef between her and Beyonce. Due to Jay Z being a mentor to Rihanna, many have hinted at the two also having an affair. These rumors returned when Beyonce dropped Lemonade and outed Jay Z.
But, after paying closer attention to Lemonade, it could be argued that it was Beyonce actually putting herself in someone else’s position. In spite of all the Jay Z “bashing,” the album did drop on TIDAL. Plus, he even shows up in the videos.
Regardless of all those details, Rihanna is back number one on iTunes, dethroned by Beyonce with “Formation.” With Calvin Harris recruiting her for “This Is What You Came For,” Rihanna is back number one. When she posted these details on Instagram, fans accused her of rubbing it in Beyonce’s face.
