If there is one thing learned about Rick Ross over the past ten years, it’s to never count him out. Either a B.I.G. imitation or a Southern rapper is how many fans counted Rick Ross, early on. Then, he decided he would take 50 Cent on and, surprisingly, won.
Still, Rick Ross had doubters when he spoke of signing Wale to MMG and expanding the roster. Being close to Birdman and doing music with him motivated Rick Ross to go harder. No one believed him until he did it and owned 2011-2012.
Rick Ross turned on Birdman after hearing of how he treated his flagship artist, Lil Wayne, despite being close to both. When he did his interview with “The Breakfast Club,” Rick Ross explained why he flipped and it was due to admiring Birdman. After what happened on Friday, Rick Ross sent bottles to Charlamagne.
