Rick Ross releases statement regarding cancelled tour dates

Previously, Rick Ross received threats from gang members in Charlotte. After launching the MMG tour, several gang members spoke out against Rick Ross. Yesterday, Live Nation revealed the tour dates in North Carolina were cancelled. Charlotte and Greensboro were the two cities where Ross was scheduled to perform.

While it was not confirmed, or even mentioned by Rick Ross and Live Nation, many have assumed the cancelled tour dates were due to the threats. Without explanation, Live Nation previously explained these dates or off. Those who purchased tickets to watch Rick Ross and Maybach Music, their money will be refunded.

Rick Ross broke his silence on the cancelled tour date, releasing a statement to AllHipHop.com. In his statement, Rick Ross apologized to the fans. During his statement, Rick Ross also promised the fans he would return to these cities. However, at the moment, Rick Ross is preparing to get back in the studio with Wale and Meek Mill.
