Rick Ross Previews Song, With Benny The Butcher, From Upcoming “Richer Than I’ve Ever Been” Album; Says Benny is “Next Up” [VIDEO]

On December 10, Rick Ross will be released his 11th studio album, “Richer Than I’ve Ever Been.” This project is led by the singles “Outlawz,” ft. Jazmine Sullivan and 21 Savage, and “Little Havana,” ft. The Dream and Willie Falcon.

Ross also recently had his Richer Than I’ve Ever Been album listening party, where he praised Benny The Butcher. The Griselda Records rapper will appear on Ross’ “Rapper Estates” song. At this event, Ross had high praise for Benny, who says that he’s one of the rappers who’s “next up.”

“For the culture, it’s only right for an artist in my position to make sure I hand that baton off to a younger dude. I feel like Benny The Butcher is one of the ones that I really feel is next up.”

Benny has definitely had a solid 2021, as he’s released projects such as “The Plugs I Met 2,” “Trust the Sopranos” and “Pyrex Picasso.” Benny also signed a record deal with Def Jam last month.

Richer Than I’ve Ever Been will contain 10 tracks in total, with additional features from Wale, Future, Blxst, and more. This project is also Ross’ first album since August 2019’s “Port of Miami 2.”
