In 2007, 50 Cent was actively trying to draw Lil Wayne into a beef. The disses went ignored, until a freestyle Lil Wayne made dissing 50 Cent leaked to the internet. The freestyle was leaked late in 2008, but was recorded in 2007.
While 50 Cent was going after Lil Wayne, Rick Ross began appearing on numerous tracks with him. Because of this, 50 Cent warned Rick Ross about how close he aligned with them. Not taking kindly to the “warning,” Rick Ross began targeting 50 Cent in 2009.
Every chance Rick Ross has had to go at 50 Cent, he has taken. He went as far as getting Fat Joe, Bang ‘Em Smurf, Game, and Ja Rule to assist him in his beef with 50 Cent. Seven years later, a single Rick Ross took 50’s ex, Tatted Up Holly, with him on vacation and they looked/acted like more than friends.
