Early in the year is when Rick Ross puts his best work in, as most bosses do. In 2011, it was in the early stages of February when Rick Ross signed Wale and Meek Mill to Maybach Music. A year ago, Rick Ross started the year off with the “Stay Schemin'” single, which featured French Montana and Drake, who sounded Common off.
Rick Ross comes into 2013 five albums deep and looking ahead. Over the past three years, Ross made most of his accomplishments. After dethroning 50 Cent back in 2009, Rick Ross dropped straight hits throughout 2010, 2011, and 2012. Now, 2013 should be no different, but Rick Ross now has a developed roster around him.
The world spent the closing hours of 2012 in various places. However, the upcoming year remained the consistent theme for most. Rick Ross and his crew rang in 2013 in the Bahamas, along with several close friends. Among those who were spending time with the boss and company were Ace Hood, who performed his 2011 hit, “Hustle Hard,” with Rick Ross.
