Two years ago, Rich Homie Quan emerged from the many artists trying to emerge in Atlanta. Associated with Trinidad James, Rich Homie Quan was labeled his sidekick, for a few months. By the summer, two years ago, he was a household name in his own right.
Rich Homie Quan has yet to release an album, yet he has been involved in all kinds of rumors. When the world first met Rich Homie Quan, he was rumored to be a part of the Def Jam deal. Aside from this, Rich Homie Quan was working closely with Cash Money Records, last year.
Far from a one hit wonder with no albums out, Rich Homie Quan is a mixtape king. Now, he has done something no artist has done since DJ Unk in 2006, with “Walk It Out,” he has topped urban radio with “Flex (Ooh Ooh Ooh),” as an independent artist. Rich Homie Quan made history, as he is doing this from Think It’s A Game/EMPIRE Distribution.
