Safe to say, Remy Ma is going all out to make sure the world knows she is the queen of rap. The overall case of Remy Ma is an interesting one, because she never got her time to shine. In 2004, she stole the scene on the Terror Squad anthem, “Lean Back,” but didn’t debut, right away.
Instead, Remy Ma wouldn’t release her debut album, There’s Something About Remy, until 2006. She had a big single, “Feels So Good,” featuring Ne-Yo. However, the record never got a video, she soon fell out with Fat Joe, and was then in prison.
Released in 2014, Remy Ma’s absence saw Nicki Minaj come in and take over the rap world. While there were rumors of beef, both Remy Ma and Nicki Minaj denied having beef, but shots continued until Remy did “ShETHER,” this morning. Now, she is performing the song in concert.
