Nearly a year ago, Remy Ma permanently changed things, when she decided to take Nicki Minaj on. Because of Nicki’s position in the game, as one of the only relevant female rappers, she’s often challenged. All of the new female rappers are pit against Nicki Minaj.
Many people said Nicki Minaj would not have dominated, the way she did, if Remy Ma wasn’t in prison. However, Nicki Minaj always showed love to “Rem,” as she affectionately called her. Once “ShETHER” dropped, all bets were off.
Recently, Remy Ma did an interview with Paper Mag and she talked about the Nicki Minaj beef. They brought up Nicki’s Twitter rant, where she attacked Trey Songz, after “ShETHER” dropped. Responding to this, Remy Ma said Nicki is a psychopath, who spent all of 2017 throwing shots at her or Cardi B.
