These past few years, the Toronto Raptors have risen to become a strong team in the East. Unlike all the others, this is a team that came together naturally and has grown internally. The team really formed its core around DeMar DeRozan and Kyle Lowry.
Last season, the Raptors won five less games, and got swept in the second round by Cleveland, after going to the Conference Finals, the year before. They prepared for this season to be different. Going into the Game 3, of this series, it hasn’t been.
For all the talk about not getting enough attention, the Raptors choked a regular season game against Cleveland, as soon as they got it. Even though they held onto the top seed, they let Washington take them to a Game 6, and now Cleveland has them down 0-2, at HOME. Now, it’s clear the Pacers were a bigger challenge for LeBron, so Twitter is clowning the Raptors for choking, and calling Toronto #LeBronto.
