The last big story of 2013 was Rappin’ 4-Tay hearing Drake’s verse on YG’s then-new single, “Who Do You Love?” Rappin’ 4-Tay blasted Drake for blatantly biting his lines from “Playaz Club” and not doing anything to pay homage. Despite his protests, the song became one of the biggest hits of early 2014.
Most felt like the situation went away, as they heard nothing from Rappin’ 4-Tay, but he moves in silence. When it looked like Rappin’ 4-Tay left it alone, he was building a case against Drake. The case is one that’s built to win, as Rappin 4-Tay had a lot to celebrate today.
TMZ, Vlad TV, and several other websites picked up the story of Drake paying the sum of $100,000 to Rappin’ 4-Tay for borrowing his lyrics on “Who Do You Love?” It is a pretty penny for the veteran West Coast rapper. He immediately took to his Instagram to celebrate his victory.
