Modern history of Jersey City hip hop is defined by Joe Budden, who put the city back on the map, and Ransom, who kept the streets fed. At the height of their careers, Joe Budden and Ransom had beef. All of this changed, when they and Tsu Surf linked up.
Almost immediately following the end of the beef, Ransom began collaborating with Joe Budden. Since then, clearly they have taken completely different career directions. The past four years have seen the transformation of Joe Budden from a rapper to media personality.
Ransom stopped by ThisIs50.com, where he talked about a plethora of topics. He spoke on his younger days, when he ended up in prison, and what led to that. Before getting out of there, Ransom also spoke on how he and Joe Budden ended their beef.
