Because of the legendary music they have delivered over the past twenty years, there is a certain mystique surrounding the Wu-Tang Clan. When they first came into the game, it was rather easy for the crew to get together and put out albums. This is no longer the case because each member of the Wu has successful solo careers.
In recent years, Raekwon has held the Wu-Tang Clan down in terms of solo releases. He returned to the game in 2009 and he has since released two new albums and several mixtapes. Raekwon started 2013 off with the Lost Jewelry EP and has plans of releasing his new album later in the year.
With 2013 being the twentieth anniversary of the Wu-Tang Clan, the crew is getting together for a new album. Their first album in six years, there is a lot surrounding this new album. Raekwon talked about this during his interview with Elite Daily that came out earlier today.
