Running with Young Money and often spotted in Miami, attending Heat games and in videos with Rick Ross, it is easy to forget Drake is from Canada. While he enjoys spending time in the United States, Drake never forgets to mention Toronto. As he has relocated to the United States, there are many hip hop artists who have ventured into Canada, specifically, Toronto.
Raekwon has been spending quite a bit of time in Toronto, as has Pill, who is launching his The Epidemic tour in Toronto. Not only is Raekwon planning to move to Canada, he is working in the Canadian hip hop scene. Late in 2011, Raekwon introduced the world to JD Era. Before working with Raekwon, JD Era was making a name for himself on the mixtape scene.
Montreality, a Canadian-based hip hop video series, has caught up with several rappers and has gained more popularity in recent months. Raekwon spoke with Montreality about his love for Canada and their hip hop scene. The footage is available on Vlad TV.
