Exactly one week from today, Raekwon will kick off his 2013 with Lost Jewelry, his latest release. Raekwon is preparing to release his new EP in order to build enough buzz for his next album. The last time Raekwon released an album was with Shaolin vs. Wu-Tang, which was released in 2011.
Raekwon enjoyed a rather silent 2012. During the opening days of 2012, Raekwon released his Unexpected Victory mixtape. Met with critical acclaim, Raekwon began touring in Canada. During this period of time, Raekwon announced the signing of Toronto rapper, JD Era, to Ice H20 Records.
On January 15, Raekwon intends to release his new EP. With Lost Jewelry due in a handful of days, Raekwon is generating interest in the new project. A little over a week ago, Raekwon announced the release date and revealed the artwork. Now, the listening party has taken place in New York City and footage has been released to the world.
