R. Kelly has been trying to get out of prison on bond due to the fear of the spread of the coronavirus pandemic and is now taking it to the next level to try to get away. According to The Blast, he is trying to have house arrest in an apartment complex close to an outdoor shopping mall. He’d be living with Joycelyn Savage, who recently moved out of his Trump Tower condo in Chicago.

Kelly’s says he’s not able to meet with his lawyers and the facility where he’s locked up at is being subjected to fast spread of the virus. The problem with living with Savage in this apartment complex though is that the shopping mall nearby has a lot of young girls there and he’s been incarcerated for federal sex crimes involving underage girls.

Savage’s apartment is also coincidentally just 11 minutes away from the Trump Tower condo. One of Kelly’s ex-girlfriends, Azriel Clary, also recently moved out after falling out with Kelly and Savage. A judge hasn’t made a decision regarding this request by Kelly to move in with Savage yet. This likely won’t happen though due to prosecutors viewing Kelly as a legit threat to young girls. They definitely have every reason too. He’s facing charges in New York, Minnesota, and his home state of Illinois for charges spanning over three decades.
