R. Kelly was charged in February with 10 counts of aggravated sexual assault with minors and last week, he was hit with 11 additional sexual assault charges. This was for his involvement with Jerhonda Pace, a minor back in 2010. Kelly has been taken down at the hands of Lifetime’s “Surviving R. Kelly” docu-series in January.

Kelly was in court today and pleaded not guilty to the new charges, according to CBS News. Kelly’s lawyer, Steve Greenberg, said the not guilty decision was made because that’s simply what Kelly is. Four of the 11 counts include aggravated criminal sexual assault which carries up to 30 years in prison.

“We plead not guilty to all of the charges because he’s not guilty.” Greenberg added, “If you didn’t do it, then you didn’t do it,” and said, “I think he’s feeling positive. It’s tough. Everything is against him. If the feds indict Robert, then we’ll deal with it.”

Kelly’s next hearing is June 26. He continues to get caught up in sex scandals with minors and hopefully he is brought to justice soon. Enough has been enough over the past three decades.
