R. Kelly Granted Hearing By Judge For Chance at Bail Set To Take Place on March 5 [COURT DOCS]

R. Kelly has been in prison since last summer as he was arrested on sex charges with minors which span over three decades. He has allegedly committed these crimes in New York, Minnesota, and his home state of Illinois. He recently underwent surgery to repair his hernia and was sent back to his cell.

At the end of 2019, Kelly tried to cite health reasons as to why he needs to be out of prison. That was denied but now, he may have a shot at posting bail.

According to AllHipHop.com, Kelly was granted a hearing for bail in Cook County, Illinois. Judge Harry D. Leinenweber approved a motion for reconsideration of pre-trial detention. This hearing will take place on March 5 at 10am.

Kelly’s lawyer, Steven Greenberg, has also requested that instead of being in prison, he do his time at home. He would also have to not appear on social media often. We all know that Kelly has a problem when it comes to dealing with underage girls. What needs to be done is for a trial to be set. Him receiving a shot at bail shouldn’t be an option. Check out the court documents for the upcoming hearing below.
