With the stories about the fights and the controversy at the 2012 BET Hip Hop Awards dwindling, the focus is now shifting to the actual show. A couple of the cyphers have leaked to the internet, showing the likes of Lil Chuckee and Angel Haze freestyling. Angel Haze would actually conduct an interview talking about the cypher.

The 2012 BET Hip Hop Awards will go down in history, due to the fights. During the show, the world witnessed 50 Cent and Fat Joe end their long-running feud. After the peace, Young Jeezy and Rick Ross would fight, after two years of trading subliminal disses. Maybach Music artist, Gunplay, would also get into a fight, sparring with G-Unit’s Mike Knox.

However, Q-Tip was in attendance too, keeping the peace. VIBE TV would catch up to Q-Tip, speaking with him about his upcoming album, The Last Zulu. During the interview, Q-Tip would also be asked about his collaboration with Busta Rhymes. The two released a highly-popular hit single in 2005, “For the Nasty,” which was featured on the NBA Live ’06 soundtrack.
