Q of 112 Says He’s in Same Contract Situation as Mase and Isn’t Receiving Funds From Publishing From Diddy at Bad Boy Records [VIDEO]

Former Bad Boy Records artist, Mase, recently put Diddy on blast. He went on Instagram, mentioning how he signed a bad contract and still isn’t getting the money owed to him. 112 was another successful group of artists on the label. They dominated R&B in the 90s. Former member Quinnes “Q” Parker is now speaking on that situation and how he relates to it. He also says Diddy needs to do better.

TMZ caught up with Q and said he signed the same exact contract that Mase did back in the 90s. He did admit that the contracts that he and Mase signed at the time were regular industry standard ones so there was no issues at the time. Fast forward to now though, Q wants to get out of the Bad Boy contract that he’s in and wants his publishing back. He emphasized that artists need to know what they’re reading in contracts now.

It’s unknown how long the deal was for but if he’s still stuck with Bad Boy, it must be a very bad one. Diddy recently bashed the GRAMMYs for not supporting black artists and preached black excellence but the way that he’s been doing his artists, he is coming off as hypocritical. Q even said Diddy is asking the GRAMMYs to do something that he’s not willing to do. Q ended up officially leaving 112 back in 2018.
