Throughout his career, Pusha T has been known for his gritty rhymes and for his braids. When he first rose to fame with The Clipse, both he and his brother, No Malice, donned the braids. But, when rappers with braids began cutting their hair, No Malice decided it was time to cut his hair, too.
On the other hand, Pusha T has continued to rock his braids and they have actually come back in style. Now, there are several rappers rocking the braids, once again. While Pusha T’s primary rival, Lil Wayne, now dons dreds, braids are coming back. A$AP Rocky has been documented for his braids.
Hip Hop Wired talked to Pusha T about his hair, earlier today. During the interview, Pusha T explained how long he has had his braids. Pusha T also talked about why he has kept his hair like this for so long and what it would take for him to cut it.
