Pusha T speaks on “Control,” Kendrick Lamar, and “My Name is My Name” leak with HNHH [VIDEO]

There weren’t too many people who didn’t hear Kendrick Lamar’s “Control” verse where he called out the entire game. Kendrick Lamar jumped on the record and aimed at people who he felt were his lyrical equals. Some people say their voice patterns are similar, so Pusha T definitely was on that list.

Pusha T sent some subliminal tweets the direction of Kendrick Lamar when “Control” first came out. But, only a few weeks later, Pusha T collaborated with Kendrick Lamar on his “Nosetalgia” single. The song has done well, but a lot of people can’t get over how quickly Pusha T collaborated with the man who dissed him.

In four days, Pusha T drops his My Name is My Name album, which has been three years in the making. Since the album is so close to being due, Pusha T is doing a lot of interviews where he talks about the album. Pusha T spoke to HotNewHipHop and he said he wasn’t offended by “Control,” his work with Kendrick Lamar, and the album.
