Pusha T reveals new album from The Clipse, “As God As My Witness,” on MTV News [VIDEO]

Pusha T 7Ironically, it was Pusha T’s eagerness to begin working on a new album with The Clipse that launched his solo career. After releasing an album in 2009, Pusha T felt he and his brother should come back out in 2010. Instead, No Malice (then known as Malice) urged his brother to begin his solo career.

Starting in 2010 with several scene-stealing performances on Kanye West’s awaited comeback album, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, Pusha T became a major solo star.  In 2011, Pusha T fended off disses from Consequence and released his Fear of God mixtape. Pusha T gained solo success with Tyler, the Creator with “Trouble on My Mind.”

Releasing Wrath of Caine, his final mixtape, Pusha T is preparing his debut solo album, My Name is My Name. Recently, Pusha T took time out to speak to MTV News and he made a major announcement. The Clipse is working on their first album in four years, As God As My Witness.
