Memphis hip hop has been led by Project Pat for years, while Yo Gotti has risen to success in recent years. Project Pat’s reign dates back well into the 1990s, as a member of the popular group, Three Six Mafia. Currently, the Memphis rapper is working with Nasty Mane on the second edition of their Belly on Full mixtape.
“P.O.L.O. (Horse Power)” is the first single from the mixtape and it has already found its way into rotation on several stations. As the song picks up momentum, Project Pat is putting the finishing touches on his project with Nasty Mane. Belly on Full 2 is said to be one of the hottest street albums, upon its release.
In addition to Nasty Mane, who co-leads the project with Project Pat, artists such as Atlanta rapper, Gorilla Zoe, will also appear on the mixtape. Juicy J is the only other artist featured on the mixtape. Currently, Belly on Full 2 is available for pre-download on iTunes and the lead single, “P.O.L.O.,” can be found on the internet.
