With so many new rappers working overtime for Los Angeles, it is impossible to name them all at the same time. One who definitely deserves more mentions is Problem, however. Problem is widely regarded as one of the leaders of the “New West” movement, outside of the TDE movement, best-known for Kendrick Lamar.

Recently, Problem teamed up with fellow West Coast rapper, Iamsu! for their joint mixtape, Million Dollar Afro. Released this past week, the mixtape has done very well for the rising rappers. Not even fully emerged to the forefront, Problem has gained quite a bit of success over his music.

Recently, Problem welcomed the cameras of R&R into his Diamond Lane Music studios to talk about various topics. Being in a studio, obviously Problem talked about what it is like making music and hearing his music on the radio. Problem also went on to talk about his influences and Kendrick Lamar.
