Pop Smoke Canceled Recent Show in Hometown of Brooklyn Prior To Murder Over Concern Of Gang Members in Attendance; Was Also Reportedly Suspicious of Gang Activity in LA

It’s been three days since rising Brooklyn rapper Pop Smoke was shot and killed in a Hollywood Hills home. Four men were reported to have entered the premises with Smoke being the intended target. This is also after he posted his Instagram listed on a bag on Instagram.

Smoke’s family from New York has since flown to Los Angeles to ask friends and witnesses about the situation. According to TMZ, Smoke was reportedly suspicious of gang activity in LA the same way in NYC. Last Sunday, he was supposed to perform at the Kings Theatre in Brooklyn but Smoke claimed that NYPD wouldn’t let him perform.

NYPD shut down this claim and revealed that Smoke actually canceled it due to gang members in the crowd. Due to his ongoing case involving illegal transport of a vehicle, he was ordered to stay away from any gang members. Smoke’s friends in LA also suspect that a gang him took out as well.

Smoke’s family didn’t believe that he had any enemies in LA and that would likely to be the case back in NY. Hopefully, these suspects are brought to justice soon though.
