Pooh Shiesty’s $10,000 Bond Revoked; Will Remain in Jail Until Trial Date, After Turning Himself in For King of Diamonds Shooting in Miami

Yesterday, Pooh Shiesty turned himself into police for aggravated battery. This was regarding an incident on May 30, where he accidentally shot a security guard in the ankle at the King of Diamonds strip club in Miami. Shiesty was performing that night, and soon realized that $40,000 weren’t in his pockets anymore. The Memphis rapper attempted to shoot at someone for this, and as security tried to prevent this, he ended up getting shot.

Shiesty had a hearing on Wednesday for this case, as he ended up being granted $10,000 bond. The 1017 artist expected to be freed today but instead, that actually will not happen. According to the Miami Herald’s David Ovalle, he will remain in jail until his trial date, after that decision was made today by Judge Venzer.

Judge Venzer ended up saying “There is not a chance I am giving this kid a bond right now.” This likely stems from Shiesty having another shooting incident in Miami, back in October. This was in the Bay Harbor Islands area, where he met with two others in an attempt to buy a pair of Air Jordan retro 4s and marijuana. Shiesty ended up shooting two men, and was charged with armed robbery, aggravated battery with a weapon, aggravated assault with a firearm, and petty theft.

Prior to Shiesty’s legal woes coming back to bite him, he had been red hot in 2021. This was his breakout year, as his “Back In Blood” single featuring Lil Durk peaked at number 13 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and is 2x platinum in the US. His “Shiesty Season” mixtape also debuted at number three on the Billboard 200 chart. “Neighbors” feat. BIG30 is another single that’s had Shiesty’s name hot.
