During Memorial Day weekend, Pooh Shiesty was booked at King of Diamonds in Miami, to perform. That night didn’t go smoothly at all, as the Memphis rapper supposedly got pick pocketed of the $40,000 in his pockets. This was reportedly after Shiesty was being escorted out. He accidentally fired a round at someone, which hit the security guard in the ankle as well. According to TMZ, the security guard was originally trying to get Shiesty to cover the gun up. Shiesty still fired the shot, which hit security and another victim. Shiesty ended up leaving the venue after handing the gun over to someone.
Shiesty ended up turning himself into police on Tuesday, as he had initially left Florida. The 1017 artist was soon charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, as both are felonies. The shooting initially took place on May 30, around 4AM.
Now, this situation is getting even worse for the “Back In Blood” rapper. According to HotNewHipHop.com, Shiesty is facing a minimum of 20 year in prison for this case. Attorney Moe Gangat, added that Shiesty will face a judge this week, to determine if bond is a possibility. Shiesty was also arrested back in October, in the Bay Harbor Islands area of Miami, as two people were shot, after he met up with them to discuss purchasing a pair of retro Air Jordan 4 sneakers and some marijuana.
Prior to this additional legal issue, Shiesty had been on fire in 2021. His “Back In Blood” single feat. Lil Durk went 2x platinum, and his debut “Shiesty Season” mixtape debuted at number two on the Billboard 200 chart. He was also making noise for his feature on Coi Leray’s “Big Purrd” single.
