On Friday night, Polo G and his 16-year-old brother were arrested in Miami after his “Hall Of Fame” album release party. ONe of the officers claimed that the Chicago rapper tried to attack him. That resulted in him being hit with charges of battery on a police officer, resisting with and without violence, criminal mischief and making threats.
Polo’s bond was at $15,000, but his mother was able to bail him out and everyone else. He was originally taken to Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center at 8 a.m. Saturday. According to a video posted by his mother, Stacia Mac, Polo was said to not even be the driver of the vehicle that swerved in the road and cut the cop off. The driver is supposedly a white male. Polo was also supposedly profiled, according to her.
Now, the “RAPSTAR” rapper is speaking out about the incident in Miami. He believes that officers there “play foul” in that city and that’s been the case for a minute. Polo added that one of the officers even told him that they were plotting on him ever since he landed in his private jet.
Overall though, it’s been a great week for Polo. The Hall Of Fame album is doing very well, as it’s expected to hit number one on the BIllboard 200 chart this week, and become his first top album. Appearances on this project include Nicki Minaj, the late Pop Smoke, DaBaby, Young Thug, and more.
