Police say at least one of the Young Dolph murder suspects, carjacked a woman, to get their Mercedes-Benz getaway car

On Tuesday, the two suspects in Young Dolph’s murder, were finally arrested. These two men are 23-year-old Justin Johnson and 32-year-old Cornelius Smith. Both went on to be charged with first-degree murder.

Now, more information is surfacing, regarding the white Mercedes-Benz getaway car that they used, in going to shoot and kill Dolph. According to TMZ, one of them carjacked a woman, in order to obtain this vehicle.

Legal documents state that this carjacking went down in Memphis, a week before Dolph’s murder. This woman is said to have been approached by two men, with AR-style guns. They quickly asked for the car, and was soon hit in the face, with a muzzle from a gun.

One of the men supposedly chased the woman down, after she got out of the car. This was due to them not knowing how to start the car. She was soon put back into the Benz, getting the car started, and was soon hit in the back of the head, with a gun.

After the carjacking, one of the men drove it, and another one followed it, while driving a “dark-colored sedan.” The Mercedez-Benz is also said to have been used in various crimes around Memphis.

Fingerprints for the Benz, ended up matching those of Cornelius Smith’s. Justin Johnson was also found to have had ties to the car, due to him shooting a music video, at a nearby home, where the Benz was abandoned.

Dolph was initially killed on November 17. At the time, he was purchasing cookies at Makeda’s Cookies, a popular South Memphis business.
