SKE Records turned heads as an independent record company in 2012. Trel Mack made his return to the rap game and released his EP, Inspired by Greatness. Following his EP in 2012 will be several singles and possibly a mixtape in 2013. Previously, Trel Mack collaborated with label-mate, Petter Jones.
Trel Mack will be reuniting with Petter Jones and also Shaun ChrisJohn. Recently, the trio released the official cover for a new single, “Mistreated.” Between the artwork and the single title, it is clear what the subject matter is. Earlier this evening, SKE Records dropped this artwork off to Hip Hop Vibe.
Last year, SKE Records took over the underground. But, in 2013, SKE Records is searching for mainstream recognition. With one buzzing single already out, SKE Records has more music planned, starting with “Mistreated.” Those anticipating the song will have their chance to hear it when it debuts on the internet on January 21.
