Petition Made For Tekashi 6ix9ine Has Received Over 36,000 Signatures In Support Of Him Being Able To Post Bail For His Fed Case That Carries Life Sentence

Tekashi 6ix9ine is still locked up on racketeering, murder conspiracy, weapons, and assault charges. He’s facing a life sentence and his trial date isn’t until September 4, 2019. He was taken into the feds last month.

This week, 6ix9ine’s lawyer Lance Lazarro said that he’s putting together a bail package that would be $1.5 million with the claim that he’s not a threat to the community. Now, a petition on Change.org is surfacing which has gotten over $36,000 signatures demanding that 6ix9ine be able to post bail. The petition’s goal is to reach 50,000.

“This petition is made in regards to Hip Hop international Artist Daniel Hernandez stage name (Tekashi 69) His Family , Fans , Friends & Supporters hope that the judge can grant this young man bail so he can get back with his family & continue to make great music for his fans while he fights this legal battle. Let’s show that this Rainbow hair rapper is a non threat to any community but is loved for all that he has done & the positive impact he has on others. We thank everyone for your love & support.”

As previously noted with 6ix9ine’s attorney Lance Lazarro trying to post bail at $1.5 million, it’s a bit confusing because 6ix9ine had previously tried to offer the $1.7 million in his bank account and that was denied. Other legal issues plaguing 6ix9ine are an arrest warrant for a case back in January where he assaulted a Houston teenager for taking a photo of him and an Instagram model claiming that she had his baby.
