This week, Petey Pablo is all over the hip hop news after his guest appearance on “Empire.” He is the one who provides the background vocals for “Snitch Bitch,” Lucious Lyon’s (Terrence Howard) new single in the storyline. That song has since gone viral with much discussion.
Petey Pablo was out of the spotlight, for a minute, and those who recognized him questioned why he was on. Most casual fans would not know Petey Pablo is close to Timbaland. It is Timbaland who produces the music for “Empire.”
Recently, Petey Pablo was called by Charlamagne Tha God on “The Breakfast Club.” Talking to him and DJ Envy, Petey Pablo cleared up the “Empire” rumor going on. Indeed, he gave Terrence Howard money, but it was not a loan, he was helping a friend out and Terrence later called him to cameo on behalf of “Empire.”
