The best thing about the Soul Train Awards is that they acknowledge and honor the past, while embracing the future. Every year, they bring out the biggest legends in urban music. There are always sets dedicated to the OGs performing the hits that made them legends.

Last year, Dru Hill got the honor to perform and, this year, 112 got their chance. Back in 2001, 112 was still considered to be somewhat of a one hit wonder. All of this changed, when they dropped “It’s Over Now” and was forgotten by the time “Peaches & Cream” came out.

112 performed these hits, tonight, along with “Cupid,” bringing back all kinds of memories for many. Immediately, they hit Twitter in order to give 112 their props. However, “Peaches & Cream” was the runaway favorite, as fans actually wanted more of that track.
