This weekend, Patrick Patterson had some comments, from earlier this fall, resurface. Back in September, he got married to the woman photoed to his right. When sharing the wedding photos, Patterson encountered a fan who questioned why he was with a white woman.

Going back and forth with the man, Patrick Patterson said it didn’t matter how his wife found him, all that matters is love. Then, he went onto say he’d rather be with her than a “bulldog.” This led many to believe he was referring to black women.

Patrick Patterson has been dragged by Twitter, all day, as more IG comments were dug up. He got into it with a black woman, saying he didn’t want to be blinded looking at her. Issuing an apology, Patterson revealed the man and woman were husband and wife, apologizing to them, and everyone he offended, making it clear the “bulldog” comment was not directed towards black women.
