Many reasons, too many to count, are why Beyonce has such a large and devoted fan base. One reason is because, outside of her numerous talents, she practices what she preaches. With all the social injustice going on, Beyonce risked her platform to speak out.
Beyonce, and Jay-Z, her husband, have vocally and actually supported black businesses and black causes. Tonight, Beyonce and Jay-Z lent their star power to the NAACP Image Awards. While the other award shows have snubbed them, Beyonce won big here.
When she won “Entertainer of the Year,” Beyonce had the support of everyone. It is the support of Omari Hardwick, aka ‘Ghost’ on “Power,” that has Beyonce’s fans in an uproar. Beyonce is an attractive, but married, woman, so fans took exception to Hardwick kissing Beyonce twice, and the second kiss almost looks like he kissed her mouth, but a closer look shows he didn’t, still Beyonce’s BeyHive is all over him, on Twitter.
