Last year, Migos continued their run on top of the game, and the trio did the impossible. In the midst of all the rumors of Nicki Minaj and Cardi B having beef, Migos got them on “Motorsport.” Instead of promoting unity, the song actually helped intensify their beef.
Cardi B definitely came with some hard lyrics, proving to many that she could actually rap. While “Bodak Yellow” was a hit, few people were giving Cardi a chance as an emcee. Her fans viewed it as another anthem for her and Offset, her husband, but no one knew about it.
Last night, Cardi B performed at the iHeart Jingle Ball concert, where she threw shots at Offset. When she performed “Motorsport,” Cardi B changed the line to “man we should get that divorce.” All the publicity isn’t going over too well with Offset, who said “f*ck y’all, I miss Cardi.”
