Veteran actress, Nicole Ari Parker, is one of the few well-known actors and actresses to not appear on “Empire.” Back in October, she hinted as if things had changed. Now, the Lee Daniels-helmed soap is changing that.
Nicole Ari Parker rose to fame, in 1997, when she played in Soul Food, the film. The movie led to her having breakout success and starring in several sitcoms, one of them opposite Boris Kodjoe, her husband. She is now preparing to make her small screen return.
“Empire” season four has seen the introduction of Eddie Barker (Forest Whitaker), an old friend of Lucious (Terrence Howard) and Cookie (Taraji P. Henson), to help run Empire while Lucious was out. With Lucious now on the mend, Eddie’s estranged ex-wife, Giselle, is back in the picture. Nicole Ari Parker is the portrayer.
