Moments like this explain why people are so proud to see how far hip hop has come. Even with the fan wars, this culture has grown so much that artists have their own legion of dedicated fans. After being off the grid, for months, Nicki Minaj is returning in a big way.
Earlier this week, Nicki Minaj announced she’d be returning with two singles. The records are set to drop, here within the next couple of hours. Apparently, Nicki Minaj is dropping them with Apple Music, instead of her partner, TIDAL, as she’s doing a Zane Lowe interview.
Nicki Minaj’s fans are very excited about all that’s going on. Starting at midnight, they started the #NickiDay hashtag, and it’s been the number one trending topic, all day. The fans on Twitter have a goal of Nicki taking the top two spots on iTunes.
