Nicki Minaj’s “Seeing Green,” Featuring Lil Wayne and Drake, From Rerelease of 2009 “Beam Me Up Scotty” Mixtape, Goes Gold

In early May, Nicki Minaj broke her two-month long social media hiatus by posting multiple photos to Instagram, of her wearing Crocs. She also said something was coming on Friday, which ended up being the rerelease of her classic 2009 mixtape, Beam Me Up Scotty.

This project was finally made available on streaming outlets, and contained the highly anticipated “Fractions” single. Several other new records were included as well, such as “Seeing Green,” featuring Lil Wayne and Drake. This brought 2009 vibes back to fans, as they delivered impressive verses.

Now, “Seeing Green” has set another milestone. According to Chart Data, it has now sold over 500,000 units. This now puts the song at gold certification eligibility, by the RIAA, in the US. This record remains one of the most popular singles off of Beam Me Up Scotty.
