Nicki Minaj has been very quiet for a while now as she hadn’t posted on Instagram since January and Twitter since February. This is after she gave birth to her first child last fall. She had this child with her husband, Kenneth Petty. Now, it appears that fans are. getting a new Nicki single for the first time since February 2020’s “Yikes.”
Nicki has just posted several new photos of herself to Twitter and Instagram with a pink background. Her caption read “F R I D A Y 🤞🏽.” This now has social media on fire as fans have been anxiously waiting for Nicki to put out a new single for quite some time now. In 2020, she appeared on Doja Cat’s “Say So,” which became the number one song in the US and she was also on Mike Will Made-It’s “What That Speed Bout!?,” which also included NBA Youngboy.
When it comes to a Nicki album, the last project she put out was her “Queen” album, in August 2018. That went on to debut at number two on the Billboard 200 chart and was led by singles such as “Chun-Li” and “Barbie Dreams.” Queen went on to be certified platinum in the US.
