Back in 2014, Nicki Minaj had another huge record on her hands with her “Anaconda” single. That quickly soared to No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and became one of the hottest records of the year.
The music video for Anaconda also went viral as the views accumulated heavily. Now, the visuals have reached another impressive milestone as today, it reached 1 billion views. Nicki fans then took to Twitter to voice their congrats for the legendary female rapper.
Anaconda as a single went on to appear on Nicki’s third studio album, “The Pinkprint,” that year as well. That project debuted at No: 2 on the Billboard 200 chart and is 2x platinum in the US. Anaconda is also 2x platinum.
