Nicki Minaj digs up an old clip from “The Rap Game,” where a woman practically forced a young female rapper, @lyric.chance, to say Nicki wasn’t her influence, and Nicki blasted the woman, leading to Lyric responding, and Nicki defending her

Yesterday, Cardi B went on a Twitter rant, where she said she was the most-influential female rapper. This caused a lot of controversy, because Cardi is still a “new” artist. Four years ago, Cardi B rose to fame, but she did so, via television.

Nicki Minaj, meanwhile, went from doing street freestyles and cyphers, leading to her doing the mixtape DVD hustle. That predated social media, where Nicki Minaj flourished. By the time she got signed, Nicki was a huge force in the game.

Despite being one of the biggest names in music, Nicki Minaj feels she’s often slighted, and has been since day one. Honestly, Nicki Minaj isn’t totally wrong, as she shared a video clip from “The Rap Game,” during an early season, where one young female rapper was put on the spot. The young girl, @lyric.chance, was questioned for saying Nicki inspired her, and Nicki blasted the woman who put her on the spot.

This led to @lyric.chance speaking out, and Nicki Minaj coming to her defense, to further insult the woman who called her out, repeatedly calling her “bitter.”
