Nicki Minaj becomes first female rapper to reach 25 billion Spotify streams

Nicki Minaj has definitely been one of the most consistent artists, over the past month and a half. She’s released three singles, which include two singles with Lil Baby, in “Do We Have A Problem?” and “Bussin.” Last week, she also put out her new We Go Up single, featuring fellow New Yorker, Fivio Foreign. A few weeks ago, Nicki also appeared on Coi Leray’s new “Blick Blick” single.

Nicki’s streams are doing huge numbers right now, as she has hit a new milestone. According to Chart Data, she is now the first female rapper to reach 25 billion streams on Spotify, on all credits.

This comes after Nicki clapped back at a fan last night, who wasn’t feeling her hanging out with Fivio and his crew, for his birthday. They wanted Nicki to leave a certain lifestyle, but Nicki made it known that she’s always been the same, which goes back to when she was blowing up from 2007-2009, in New York City.

Fans hope that this is finally the year that Nicki releases her fifth studio album. Her last project was “Queen,” in August 2018, which debuted at number two on the Billboard 200 chart.
