Early in Nicki Minaj’s career, she was fast friends with most industry power players. As Nicki was taking over the game, Rihanna had owned it for five years. The two were so close that all kinds of rumors were suggested about them.
Rihanna, though, was often tied to Drake, who also openly lusted for Nicki Minaj. After 2016, Nicki ran into a lot of career struggles. As Remy Ma reestablished herself, fans sided with her, when she dissed Nicki, and rumor had it that Rihanna also was Team Remy.
Whatever the case, Rihanna and Nicki Minaj haven’t followed each other, on social media, for years. The two, though, have much respect for each other, as Rihanna was seen, last year, bumping Nicki in the studio. Now, fans have pointed out that the onetime besties are following each other, on Instagram, for the first time in years.
