Nick Cannon Defends R. Kelly By Asking Where’s ‘Surviving Harvey Weinstein’ Documentary After R. Kelly Faces 10 Counts Of Aggravated Sexual Abuse With Underage Girls

R. Kelly got out of jail today after someone helped him pay his $161k child support that he owes to ex-wife Andrea Kelly. He was put back in jail on Wednesday after failing to meet the child support deadline. He is still facing 10 counts of aggravated sexual abuse with four underage women though.

The R. Kelly investigations have gotten deeper since Lifetime’s ‘Surviving R. Kelly‘ docuseries aired in January. Many people are still siding with Kelly, even Nick Cannon. Cannon’s defense on Instagram has been “What time does Surviving Harvey Weinstein come on?” Weinstein was arrested on rape charges in May of last year. This was after over a dozen women accused Weinstein of sexual abuse in 2017 over the past 30 years. He was released on bail after his arrest.

Yes, Weinstein needs to be in prison but so does Kelly. Sex tapes are being discovered of him having sex with these young girls and justice needs to be served. Hold Weinstein accountable but don’t defend a monster like R. Kelly. What Cannon also didn’t realize is that there is a documentary about Weinstein called “Untouchable” which was released this past January at the Sundance Film Fesitival. Check out Cannon’s post below.
