Not too many rappers out here working as hard as Turk is, he keeps the new music on deck. At least once a week, Turk is dropping a new single and at least every hour, he is putting something on Instagram. Turk is one of the most-notable rappers on Instagram and he wouldn’t have it any other way.
The Cash Money Records most of the world was first introduced to included Turk, who was a member of the Hot Boys. They put out countless hits in the late 1990s, before they all went solo. Life took them all in different directions and Turk has enjoyed his journey, for better or for worse.
While Turk is from New Orleans, he gets a lot of love from Memphis, which he talked to Hip Hop Vibe about. Turk was in his second and he was there with another New Orleans native son. His former label-mate and group-mate, Juvenile, was there and they made a night of it in the club, along with Mystikal.
