NBA Youngboy’s “Sincerely, Kentrell,” Officially Becomes Top Album in US, and Ends Drake’s Three-Week Number One Run

Over a week ago, NBA Youngboy put out his first album, while incarcerated. This is “Sincerely, Kentrell,” as it contained 20 tracks, with all of them being only Youngboy featured.

Fans streamed Sincerely, Kentrell heavily, and now, it’s the number one album in the US. According to Chart Data, it debuted at the number one spot, on the Billboard 200 chart this week, with 137,000 units sold. 10,000 were pure sales, and 186.29 million on-demand streams were totaled.

Youngboy’s album also ended Drake being at the number one spot, for three weeks in a row. His “Certified Lover Boy” album held that position, as it debuted at the top spot, in early September. This week, CLB is at number two, with 135,000 units.

Youngboy now has three number one projects, since April 2020. These are “38 Baby 2,” “Top,” and now, “Sincerely, Kentrell.”
