NBA Youngboy continues to win big over the past three years as he’s scored three No. 1 albums since October of 2019. It started with “AI Youngboy 2” that month, “38 Baby 2” in April and last week with “Top.” His “Still Flexin Still Steppin” mixtape in February also debuted at No. 2.
AI Youngboy 2 is still building a lot of momentum as now, it has been certified platinum by the RIAA in the US, according to Chart Data. This is after selling 1 million units. It was led by the singles “Self Control,” “Slime Mentality,” and “Make No Sense.”
The first AI Youngboy project was initially released as a mixtape in August 2017. It crashed mixtape streaming outlets as the demand was real and was Youngboy’s first project since being released from prison. Commercially, it did well on the charts as well as it reached the No. 24 spot on the Billboard 200 chart.
