Nature Boy who is originally from Chicago but now resides in Florida is a 15 year veteran in the Hip Hop game. He first appeared as a producer/artist on Pastor Troy’s first Face Off album on a track entitled, “My Niggaz is the Grind.” His friendship with Pastor Troy came through Nature Boy’s friendship with David Banner. Since then he has consistently been on his grind.
He has his own business with his Project Mayhem Music imprint. He also has a partnership with his brother. The two of them own Infrared Music Group and they manage LEP Bogus Boyz. Nature says, “LEP is more than a music thing, that’s a Chicago thing and that’s always my main priority period.”
Nature Boy’s camp has several projects dropping this year starting with, LEP Bogus Boyz’ Don’t Feed the Killers 4 dropping July 14, produced by Drama. Nature also has his own Gangsta Grillz mixtape The Vatican, dropping June 14 but about the project Nature Boy says, “I’m not a rapper I’m a producer and the mixtape will be my production with artists rhyming over it.” Nature also has his own up and coming artist Spenzo.
When asked about the continuing gun violence in Chicago, Nature Boy states, “It’s fucked up! As far as violence it’s just where Chicago’s is at right now but its outta control and hell, I grew up around it and in it, I was a part of that lifestyle but I made it out. I was just home on Mother’s Day and there were five people murdered right there and I had only been there 12 or 13 hours but that’s what LEP Bogus Boyz is for because they visualize the city being shown In a way that it’s never been shown before from a music side other that through your Kanye’s or your Lupe’s and Twista’s.”
About his affiliations with the Game’s Black Wall Street, Nature says, “that relationship is also deeper than music.” He also works with DJ Khaled’s, We The Best as an engineer and producer and with Atlantic Records via his own imprint, Project Mayhem Music.

Who is the person or artist that made you want to become an artist or in your case a producer and engineer? God. I feel like I was born to do this.
Who are your top 3 artists dead or alive? I get a lot of backlash for this because most people don’t believe it but my favorite MC right now is Ransom New Jersey’s finest but in a respectful manner it would be Raekwon, Nas and Ransom.
